WILD IN ART x OOR WULLIE’S BIG BUCKET TRAIL

An absolute honour to be a selected as one of the artists to design and paint the legendary Oor Wullie for the Big Bucket Tail - the world’s largest open air art exhibition. Marcella’s sculpture sold for £4, 000 at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery auction raising money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and the art trail raised a whopping £1.3 million for children in hospital across Scotland.

The piece was created my hand painting a floral botanical pattern across the sculpture. Marcella used acyril paint and Posca Pens to create the intricate details of the illustrated flowers in vibrant saturated colour. Truly eye-catching!
